PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated June 2, 2026

This page explains what data Pokéname (the bot and the website at https://pokename.com) collects and how it’s used. We try to keep this short and honest.

1. What we collect

  • Server settings — prefixes, channel configs, starboards, collection lists, shiny-hunt pings and similar in-bot preferences, keyed by Discord server/user IDs.
  • Account info (website) — when you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, email, and the list of servers you’re in. We use this to log you in and show your servers in the dashboard.
  • Billing records — if you purchase premium, we store the subscription ID, plan, status, and the server/user it’s linked to. Card details are handled entirely by PayPal — we never see them.
  • Error and usage logs — anonymous counts and stack traces for debugging and monitoring. No message contents.

2. What we do NOT collect

We don’t read or store the contents of regular chat messages, DMs, or anything outside the bot’s explicit commands and the spawn image it’s replying to. We don’t track you across sites and we don’t sell or share your data with third parties.

3. Where data lives

Data is stored on a private server we control. Spawn images are processed in memory by our AI model and are not saved to disk. Discord profile info (avatar, username) may be cached for up to an hour to reduce Discord API calls.

4. Third parties

We use Discord (for the bot itself + login), PayPal (for payments), and Cloudflare (for DNS/CDN). Each has its own privacy policy. We don’t share your data with anyone else.

5. Deleting your data

You can reset most server data with the bot’s reset commands. To delete account/billing data, DM an admin in our Discord support server or email [email protected] and we’ll handle it promptly.

6. Changes

If this policy changes meaningfully we’ll update the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the Services means you accept the current policy.
